Dr Weibin Liang

Weibin Liang was born and raised in Guangzhou China. Despite having committed no crimes, he moved to Australia where he obtained an MPhil degree (supervised by Prof. Andrew T. Harris) at the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in 2011, followed by a PhD degree (supervised by A. Prof. Deanna M. D'Alessandro) at the School of Chemistry in 2016, both at University of Sydney. After graduation, Weibin worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in Prof. Mohamed Eddaoudi's group in King Abdullah University of Science and Technology for one year. Currently, he is an ARC postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Adelaide. His research project focuses on the synthesis of enzymes/metal-organic frameworks composites for use as catalysts.

During his spare time, Weibin enjoys exploring restaurants and playing basketball.
