We had our end-of-year Xmas party on Sunday 21st December. Lots to celebrate this year with some excellent outcomes: PhD completions (Wit, Herbert), conference prizes (Jesse, Jack), and fellowships (AVH - Wit, JSPSs - Chris & Christian). Well done all!

Former PhD student and post-doc Witold Bloch was awarded an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship to undertake post-doctoral research with Prof. Guido Clever at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
Our new paper that applies X-ray crystallography to the study of inorganic chemical reaction products within the pores of MOFs has been published in Nature Chemistry.
The work enables us to uncover exact structural information about the chemical environment of a metal species within a MOF structure, thereby guiding work developing catalysts or new materials for low energy separations.
